15h30: King Albert I presents the Aviation Militaire standard to Cpt; Willy Coppens
16h30: Take off by Lts. Van Cotthem, George and Gérard.

Parachute jump demonstration from the Handley Page

Lts. Stampe and Van Cothem in a re-enactment of an air combat between a Hanriot and a Fokker.

The Goliath and Bréguet XIV aircraft take passengers in the air for their first flights.
Willy Coppens flies in a Bréguet XIV piloted by Lt. George and goes up to 6.000 meters.

Saturday 26/07/1919
The Goliath returns to Paris.
Many aerial baptism flights by twin seat Bréguet.
Belgian Aero Club day with precision landing contest. (Winner Lt. Robin)

Sunday 27/07/1919
Lts. Stampe and George in a re-enactment of an air combat between a Hanriot and a Fokker.
Aerobatics by Lt. Benoidt.
Many aerial baptism flights by twin seat Bréguet.

Colonel Roland Van Crombrugge, Commander of the Aviation Militaire since 1915, passes on command to his successor Major Jules Smeyers

01/03/1920The "Aviation Militaire Belge" adopts the new name "Aéronautique Militaire Belge".

07/05/1921
By Royal Decree n° 9269 the name "Aviation Militaire Belge" is changed into "Aéronautique Militaire Belge".
